El Torcal

A traditional Andalucian-style village. El Torcal offers the best of both worlds, a beautiful and unique country setting within a protected national park with the convenience of being only 10 minutes drive from the historic and charming city of Antequera and just 45 minutes from Malaga.

The air is fresh and pure, the scenery breathtaking and the village itself is charming. At the heart of the village is the central plaza area with its cobbled square and white washed buildings where the village shop, café, restaurant and two bars can be found. Directly below the square is the magnificent 25 metre long “tear-drop” shaped pool, with its own sun terrace, an ideal place to soak up the sun and enjoy a long drink in the bar.

The El Torcal area has one of the most dramatic and an exceptional landscape in Europe and as such was declared a national park in 1979. The park is a very popular place with walkers and bird watchers and is home to a wide selection of wildlife.

The closest city is Antequera an historic city with loads of charm. Once the capital of the region this lovely Roman city has so much to offer. Old and new combine to create a vibrant and modern city with excellent shops, an amazing choice of restaurants and bars, beautiful parks, a modern state of the art hospital and excellent road and rail links.


                 


                

 

 

Figuera (nr Alicante)

An unspoilt park set in a beautiful valley - close to Alicante

This is a brand new park being developed by British owners working closely with Breakaway Homes. The park is set in a pretty tree lined valley in the heart of the countryside - with beautiful walks and views but easily accessible to towns and cities. The closest city is Castellón de la Plana about a half an hour's drive. Its orange-tree lined streets, amazing old Gothic buildings, its range of shops and a wide choice of restaurants make it the perfect city to visit.
